AVON - fits into my theater world, too!

Here's a funny!  Whether you're a customer or a fellow AVON Representative, you probably know about my love of stage performance.  I'm an actress, but am also a playwright and director.  AVON fits into my busy schedule and allows me the flexibility to pursue my dreams, wherever they lead me! 

Last night, while at rehearsal for 12 Angry Jurors, a current production in which I've been cast as "Juror #12", something very funny happened.  Well...at least it was funny to me!  All actors have to maintain character while on stage throughout the entire play...there are no scene changes...a huge challenge!  The story is based on what happens in a Jury Rooom during a murder trial.  You may be familiar with the movie on which the stage play is based.  It's an older film entitled 12 Angry Men. 

Here's what happened during rehearsal:

Juror #12 is seen as a "flashy, maybe a little shallow, possibly a little vain, definitely ditzy, marketing executive".  While "in character" I moved to "speak" to a couple other jurors.  I was showing them my new nail polish...AVON's Urban Splatter.  I leaned down to whisper what it was called and the "Jury Foreman" whispered back to me....

"Organ Splatter?"  Oh my goodness!  Juror #2 and I started laughing!  Ok...ok...not too funny considering we were recording the rehearsal for lines.... but if you take it in context that it's a pretend murder trial...LOL!

There's a picture...not a very good one...of the nail polish on my nails on my AVON Facebook Page!  I guess if we have AVON Urban Splatter in RED, it could be called AVON Organ Splatter for Halloween!  Go like my page for a chance at an AVON Treat!  Each week in October, a winner will be selected!

If you want to see a great show, "12 ANGRY JURORS" will be performed by ANTIC, Inc. at the Newell Theatre in the Quirk Cultural Center on the 3rd Floor.  The Quirk Cultural Center is located in the old Grant School building on Grant Ave. in Cuyahoga Falls.  I am sharing the role with another actress who is awesome as well, but if you're coming to see me, you'll need to attend on opening weekend, November 8th & 9th.  Show times are 8pm, both evenings and tickets are $10, general admission.
