AVON head to toe: Footworks 6 steps to the perfect pedi

Say goodbye to expensive pedi treatments. I know it's the ultimate in luxuries, but when you don't have the extra money or even more important the extra time to spare, you can still get your feet sandal-ready with AVON Footworks products. You really will save a bundle too!

1. SOAK

Soaking feet in warm water allows you to cleanse and soften skin. It is the first step to both prepping and pampering feet. Not too hot, at least not each time. Using excessive heat on your skin often is not good. Though it might feel nice & relaxing, it is actually more drying.

2. EXFOLIATE

After soaking, apply an exfoliator scrub to feet, helping to gently slough away dryness and remove rough skin.

You might think that this is a lot of trouble to go to, but once you try it you'll find that it's easy to maintain. Just a few short minutes a week, and your feet are soft to the touch. No more snagging on the blankets at night! I've always loved to run around barefoot during the warm weather and in the house during winter but this can be hard on your feet. I was always embarrassed about the condition of my feet. Nothing I had tried had worked until I tried AVON Footworks products. Since they were in such bad shape, it took about two weeks of daily treatments until they were finally beautiful. Now, just once per week, I take time to pamper my feet and they stay in great shape all the time.

3. TREAT

Once feet are soft, focus on problem areas. Use targeted treatment to address all your needs for a total heel-to-toe makeover.

4. MOISTURIZE

Soft skin is hydrated skin. Keep feet nourished with moisture using a foot care emollient, so feet stay touchably soft.

Personal Hint
Even if I don't have time to go through all the steps, I make sure to do a quick exfoliate in the shower, and then use my moisturizer. Before the week is out, I make sure to take my pamper time, though. I deserve it and you do too!

5/6. PREP/POLISH

Massage cuticles. Clip nails to shape, then apply base coat so color goes on smoothly. For most of your toes, a single stroke of color will do. For your big toe, add a couple more. Finish with a top coat.

Personal Notes
In the winter time, your feet can still look pretty, but I choose mostly to use clear polish at that time since it does wear off from socks rubbing it off. But in sandal-wearing weather that's just around the corner, I go all out with bright colors. With normal touch-ups, AVON polish can wear up to ten days and it has no formaldehyde.
